Gabriel Jones is a photographer who first stepped onto the scene in 1995, after finishing his studies at a specialized school for photography. Just recently, Gabriel published a touching collection of photographs and stories entitled Enfermés Dehors or, strictly translated, Shut-in Outside. The book features portraits of such well-known Canadian personalities as designer Simon Chang, singer Corey Hart, the Prime Minister of Canada, Jean Chrétien, with some homeless youngsters trying to break stereotypes attached to both subjects. He also just published a photo and text and music road-trip book (4430 miles au compteur, published by Les 400 coups) gathering texts written by Gonzague Verdenal and original soundtrack.

Today, Gabriel is in the process of finishing a third book in France. His photographs can be seen in such magazines as New York Times Magazine, ELLE Canada, ELLE Quebec, Saturday Night, Gourmet, as well as several advertising campaignes across Canada.
